Super Facialist Rosehip Hydrate Facial Oil.

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win a lovely selection of beauty products in a giveaway on beauty blogger Back To You Beauty‘s Instagram page. There were a couple of products from the brand Super Facialist, which I was super happy about as it’s a brand I’ve wanted to try for a while. It’s been a few weeks so I thought that I would write a little review on each of them, the first one being the Rosehip Hydrate Facial Oil.

wp-1701266868470Who are Super Facialist?

“Launched in 2012, Super Facialist is a British-born skincare brand, expertly developed by a team of passionate skincare experts with many years of experience in the beauty industry. Our mission is to empower and equip customers to become their own super Facialist, boosting confidence to understand and listen to their skin.
Our tried, tested and loved formulations combine high-performance scientific ingredients, natural extracts and exquisite aromas to deliver premium formulations without the premium price tag and give customers that facialist feeling. Every Day.”

There are some absolutely gorgeous ingredients in this facial oil, check these out!

Rosehip Oil – Helps heal and rejuvenate skin

Passionflower Oil – Rich in omega 6 so rich in moisturising properties

Calendula Oil – Soothing, moisturising oil that helps defend the skin against free radicals

Raspberry Oil – Contains vitamin E and has anti-inflammatory properties

Sweet Almond Oil – Rich in oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids and vitamin B6 to condition and nourish

This wonderful facial oil is so super nourishing for my dry dehydrated mature skin. With all these ingredients including Brown Algae Extract, it really has been a delicious addition to my nightime skincare routine, helping to moisturise and hydrate my skin therefore giving me more glow the following morning. Just a couple of pumps on cleansed skin and massaged into my face taking in the lovely fragrance of raspberry rosehip and passionflower. It doesn’t leave my face sticky and oily, it sinks in like a dream so saves my pillow from becoming oily.

I also enjoy using the Rosehip facial oil when I derma-plane my face, usually every couple of months or so when I notice the old chin hairs reappear. I use a single-blade eyebrow razor to shave my face along with the facial oil moving the blade downward, and wiping it as I go. Face shaving is fab for removing not only excess hair but also dead skin cells too. It can be done without any product but I do prefer to use something to help the blade “slip” over the skin, and the oil is perfect for this job.

Anyway, that’s the first of two Super Facialist products I have that I’m reviewing here on Elegant Ageless Beauty, next time it will be the HEXAPEPTIDE 9 anti-ageing advanced Extra Firming Serumso I hope you will come back for that.

If you would like to see other products from Super Facialist you will find them HERE.

Ko-To-Ha Rejuvenating Serum and Anti- Ageing Cream….

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty..

I’m back to share with you the final two products that were sent to me for reviewing here on EAB from Yoko at Ko-To-Ha a Japanese skincare brand here in UK. All the products are made using Shoyaku herbs. Ko-To-Ha says “Shoyaku is the Japanese for ‘active medicinal herb’ . KOTOHA’s products are formulated from combinations of oriental herbs from countries such as China, Japan or Korea” These herbs are: Ginseng, Peonia lactiflora, Chinese Angelica, Chinese Angelica, Mulberry Root Bark, Licorice, Green Tea, and Camellia Tsubaki. This is the Ko-To-Ha Rejuvenation Serum.

The serum has a pump delivery system so that you get the correct amount of product to use. Containing  hyaluronic acid to boost moisture in the skin, there’s Raspberry oil within to nourish and give a boost to the skin cells to give it a more plump appearance therefore making the skin less tired and grey looking, which is definitely something my skin needs at the moment. I have been using the whole range of Ko-To-Ha products on my skin over the last few weeks and I’ve really enjoyed them on my skin. This Rejuvenation Serum has done exactly what it says it does, it has livened up my dull looking complexion, my forehead is less lined, and I find that by “pressing” the product onto my face it gets to where it needs to be by penetrating into the skin. It does feel slightly sticky when first applied but within a few moments my skin is soft and smooth to the touch, ready for the next step in my skincare routine, which is the Ko-To-Ha Anti-Aging Cream.

With CoEnzymeQ10 added to Ginseng extract along with Kukui nut oil which contains Vitamins A and C and is high in anti oxidants, this is a rich and creamy moisturiser. There is also Rosehip oil, Pomegranate oil and Hemp oil within, making this ideal for mature/ dry skin. It sinks in like a dream when massaged gently into the skin, I use 2 pumps worth for my face and neck and I’ve found that plenty. In the few weeks that I’ve been using Ko-To-Ha Anti Aging Cream I’ve noticed that my skin is a lot brighter, certainly less grey looking when I wake up in the morning, and the dry patches that I’ve been suffering from have disappeared, at last.

If you would like to try these or any of the lovely products from Ko-To-Ha you will find them HERE.

Thank you for stopping by and reading today.
