I purchased this palette some time ago and I thought that it was about time I wrote my thoughts down, after all, I haven’t written a post here on my blog for ages now. So, if you have been here before thank you for sticking with me, if you have only just found me then Welcome, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa.

Okay, so I purchased the MUA Makeup Academy Purist Palette from Superdrug on the High Street, but you can buy it directly from the MUA website. HERE or the Superdrug website HERE

This is a 10-pan palette with a gorgeous mix of matte and shimmer cool-toned eye shadows.  They are all buttery soft and blendable to the intensity you want. The packaging is so pretty, and it’s made of cardboard so it can go into your recycling when you have used it up. I have another MUA eyeshadow palette to share with you very soon. One of these days I may pluck up the courage and actually share an actual look with you, right now I don’t have the confidence to do that.

Well that was a bit short and sweet wasn’t it, it will get better hopefully. Thank you so much for stopping by and reading today. if you do enjoy reading my blogs I would love it if you would join me over on Instagram HERE.

It’s a Makeup Revolution Palette!

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa. I hope you are keeping safe and well.

Two weekends ago I actually got out of the house for a whole 2 hours! And, And, AND I went to another town! BUT in my defence I was going for my COVID-19 vaccination. Thank you scientists thank you NHS thank you Astrazenica. My second dose is at the end of May, and I can’t wait. Better days are coming.

After I had my jab Mark persuaded me to pop into Superdrug which was next door but one to the vaccine centre. I needed to pick up some paracetamol and while I was in there Mark treated me to a couple of products that I was after. One being a Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palette, this is the Forever Flawless, Decadent palette.

I love the pretty marble effect packaging of this palette I think it’s plastic, but I believe it can be recycled afterwards.

This beautiful palette is full to the brim with 18 buttery soft eyeshadows, a mix of matte and shimmer shades in colours that will see me through Spring and Summer for sure.

The matte shades blend out beautifully and are buildable to the intensity you want for the look you are creating.

I think this palette is appropriate for any age too, and honestly will more than likely take me through to Autumn and Winter. It’s really a year-round eyeshadow palette in my opinion. Lots of copper and bronze, orange and deep brown, it’s really stunning. I really am so glad that I picked up a Makeup Revolution palette again. I haven’t purchased from the brand in ages, I have a mascara from Revolution as well, and I’ll review that here too in the near future. You can check out the Decadent Forever Flawless from Makeup Revolution at Superdrug HERE

Thank you for stopping by today, take care.

Boots No7 Summer Edit Limited Edition Face Palette…

Hi, there my lovelies welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa.

The No7 Summer Edit Limited Edition Face Palette is literally Summer in a makeup palette…… BUT it’s also very Autumnal too! The colours really are trans-seasonal, in my humble opinion.

This is a cute little palette which sits just nicely in my hand and the mirror lets me see the whole of my face clearly. It’s a shiny black case with the No7 logo in gold on the top. Inside are 4 highly pigmented eyeshadows, 2 matte, and 2 shimmers, the two gorgeous highlighters are in flattering champagne gold tones, the bronzer is shimmery with warm tones, and the blusher is a flattering pink tone for that flushed look that’s so pretty.

Using this palette is such a delight. There’s no fall-out from any of the eyeshadows, and all are so buttery and blendable to the intensity you want. I don’t wear bronzer much, if at all when I do my makeup, but just for the sake of research I applied the bronzer from this palette, and oh it’s so pretty and definitely makes me want to carry on using it. It gave my face a nice warmth it made me look a bit sunkissed because I actually haven’t been out at all and I was looking very very pale. It was easy to use and it blended out beautifully across my face. My favourite product in the palette is actually the pretty pink-toned blusher. It blends like a dream and a little goes a long way, it’s gorgeous. I don’t use much highlighter either, but this one I just applied to just above my cheekbones, not too close to the under-eye area, and a tad above my top lip on the cupids bow to try and make my lips look less thin. This palette really is a new favourite of mine. I’ve been using MUA and Makeup Revolution for years, as I don’t buy high end because I don’t have high-end money, however, this No7 face palette was a bit more than I would usually pay at £18 but for me is worth every penny, I love it! I don’t know how long the Summer Edit palette is available for, you can see it HERE.

I do have a few makeup products to share with you that are by No7, next one being a lip and cheek palette. Did I love it as much as this beauty? Please come back soon to find out.

Thank you for stopping by and reading today, take care of yourselves, sending you lots of love.

A Glowing Boots Haul!

Hello, my lovelies, I hope you all doing well and welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa.

I did another little Boots online shop a couple of weeks ago which I thought that I’d share with you here. I don’t usually do so much online beauty shopping but recently, needs must. Needs must? Yep, to keep my blog alive and ticking along. I don’t get anything in the way of PR products sent to me anymore so I must purchase them myself. I’m too old for PR’s now methinks. So here is my latest Boots haul that I purchased online. I’m calling this a glowing Boots haul because there are a few skincare products here to help my skin to glow…

I think I could have titled this “A Pretty Boots Haul” because the products really are rather all that! Here’s what I purchased.

Boots Glow Cleansing Oil 100ml

Boots Glow Gel Mask 50ml

YourGoodSkin ProVitamin Overnight Cream 50ml

Boots Glow Brightening Mist 100ml

Boots Ingredients Hyaluronic Acid Serum 30ml

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Nail Strengthener

Boots Ingredients Caffeine Eye Cream 15ml

No7 Summer Edit Limited Edition Face Palette

This online order was originally over £50, but because of the offer of 3 for 2 on Boots products, I did have a discount of £6.50. It’s what I love about shopping with Boots you can get really great bargains with the many offers they provide.

I’ll have reviews of everything as soon as poss. In fact, I will have a review of the Summer Edit palette shortly, so I hope you will come back for that.

Thank you for stopping by today, take care.

Getting the Summer Glow with Technic Cosmetics…

Hey there lovelies, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty!

I have got an eyeshadow palette that just spells out the Summer holidays. It’s pretty and vibrant and has Flamingoes on the packaging!

This is the Summer Glow eyeshadow palette by a brand I’ve heard of but never actually purchased before, Technic. Mark picked this up for me in our local Jack’s store. Jack’s is a subsidiary of Tesco.

This gorgeous palette is in a bright pink tin with flamingoes standing all across the top. Inside the lid of the tin is a super mirror that you see the whole of your face in, there’s another flamingo standing in the corner of the mirror. The colours though are a pure joy to behold. Beautiful brights, gorgeous nudes/natural shades. Most are matte but there are a few shimmers in there too. The colours I tried out are so buttery soft and very easy to blend out to the intensity you want. I love that each eyeshadow has been given the name of a favourite holiday destination, my two faves are the final two “Bora Bora” and “Maldives” In fact they are all beautiful colours and I’d love to give those more vibrant shades a go, I must have a play around sometime.

This palette was a beautiful bargain in our local supermarket, I think the brand is available in places like Tesco, Bodycare, and online at Fragrance Direct HERE. Their official website too and is HERE.

Have you tried the Technic brand? Let me know what you’d recommend.

Thank you for reading today.
