Boots No7 Summer Edit Limited Edition Face Palette…

Hi, there my lovelies welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa.

The No7 Summer Edit Limited Edition Face Palette is literally Summer in a makeup palette…… BUT it’s also very Autumnal too! The colours really are trans-seasonal, in my humble opinion.

This is a cute little palette which sits just nicely in my hand and the mirror lets me see the whole of my face clearly. It’s a shiny black case with the No7 logo in gold on the top. Inside are 4 highly pigmented eyeshadows, 2 matte, and 2 shimmers, the two gorgeous highlighters are in flattering champagne gold tones, the bronzer is shimmery with warm tones, and the blusher is a flattering pink tone for that flushed look that’s so pretty.

Using this palette is such a delight. There’s no fall-out from any of the eyeshadows, and all are so buttery and blendable to the intensity you want. I don’t wear bronzer much, if at all when I do my makeup, but just for the sake of research I applied the bronzer from this palette, and oh it’s so pretty and definitely makes me want to carry on using it. It gave my face a nice warmth it made me look a bit sunkissed because I actually haven’t been out at all and I was looking very very pale. It was easy to use and it blended out beautifully across my face. My favourite product in the palette is actually the pretty pink-toned blusher. It blends like a dream and a little goes a long way, it’s gorgeous. I don’t use much highlighter either, but this one I just applied to just above my cheekbones, not too close to the under-eye area, and a tad above my top lip on the cupids bow to try and make my lips look less thin. This palette really is a new favourite of mine. I’ve been using MUA and Makeup Revolution for years, as I don’t buy high end because I don’t have high-end money, however, this No7 face palette was a bit more than I would usually pay at Β£18 but for me is worth every penny, I love it! I don’t know how long the Summer Edit palette is available for, you can see it HERE.

I do have a few makeup products to share with you that are by No7, next one being a lip and cheek palette. Did I love it as much as this beauty? Please come back soon to find out.

Thank you for stopping by and reading today, take care of yourselves, sending you lots of love.

W7 Cheeky Trio… Bronzer, Blusher, Highlighter Palette.

Hello welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty..

Back in April I made a small purchase of a few W7 products from Fragrance Direct, you can see which products I bought HERE. I’ve already written a review of the In The Mood Palette HERE. So today I shall share with you my thoughts of the Cheeky Trio Palette.

W7closed

The packaging for this cheeky trio is so pretty, its a pink ombre tin with the branding in gorgeous gold.

W7open

Inside the tin there are 3 really good-sized products, bronzer, blusher and highlighter. I love how each product have the wave pattern within them. Let’s start with the bronzer. It’s a really nice matte bronzer so great for contouring, it’s nicely pigmented and easily buildable to the intensity you want. It lasted a fair while on my skin and it didn’t turn orange. The blusher is Β one of the prettiest pink shades of blusher I’ve seen, it’s gorgeous and I use this more than any other at the moment. It’s a good pigment and payoff on the skin and it blends really nicely too, it gives my cheeks a rosy glow that lasts for a few hours. Meanwhile the highlighter just didn’t do anything for me. There is no payoff, It wouldn’t pick up on my brush and there is no sheen to it at all. I know that I shall definitely use the bronzer and blusher, but the highlighter will remain in the tin un-touched. Check out W7 on Fragrance Direct HERE.

Thank you for stopping by today.

ULTRA BLUSH PALETTE in “GOLDEN SUGAR” from MAKEUP REVOLUTION…..

Hello lovelies, welcome back!

So, as regular readers will know I’ve been trying the Ultra Blush Palette from Makeup Revolution in “Golden Sugar” which was another of my Christmas presents from Mark.

Initially when I opened the palette I was concerned that being a brown/gold toned palette it wouldn’t suit me because I’m so used to pink toned blushers. But it’s just so pretty! As always the palette is sturdy great quality plastic with a huge mirror in the lid. It holds bronzers, merged blushers, baked bronzer andΒ two Β merged baked highlighters, each pan of product is a really good size too with 13g of product in the palette. All the powder blushers, bronzers and highlighters feel so smooth and creamy soft and easy to apply, and a little goes a long way.

I was happy to see that there is a matte bronzer in this palette (bottom right) and a perfect peach shade blusher too (top row 3rd from left) which gave me a lovely colour to my cheeks and was actually flattering on my skin. The highlighter shade ( top left) is a gorgeous golden glow with a lot of shimmer, you don’t need a lot of product on your brush for highlighting the top of the cheek bones. For me personally, I shall use this more in the Summer when I have more of a “tanned” complexion either from fake tan or from being out in the sun, with my SPF applied of course. A practically perfect in every way blush and contour palette, with the perfect price tag of Β£6.00 from HERE.

Thank you for reading.

UNDER REVIEW: ULTRA BLUSH PALETTE in “GOLDEN SUGAR” from MAKEUP REVOLUTION…

Hello again lovely people.

Yet another Christmas gift from Mark has come out for me to play with over the weekend. I’m trying the Ultra Blush Palette from Makeup Revolution, in “Golden Sugar”. When I was choosing my Christmas presents I actually wanted the palette in “Sugar and Spice” being a pink blusher kind of girl but it was out of stock at the time so I thought I would give the gold tones a go instead.

IMG_9010

I was pleased to see that there is a peach toned shade of blusher in the palette in case I didn’t suit the more brown/bronze tones, and it’s Β a very pretty shade. I’m not telling you my full thoughts right now of these blushers, I want to test them properly and give you a full review later. But I will say there is a lot of shimmer but not glitter thankfully. The two bronzers are gorgeous, I was hoping they were matte and that is what they appear to be on swatching them on my hand. I won’t see what they are actually like until I try them on my face, which I shall be doing soon. Of course as with all Makeup Revolution’s products, pigmentation is fabulous you only have to slightly touch the product with a brush or finger and you get super colour pay-off.

I’m looking forward to trying out this blusher palette it’s just so pretty, I hope you will come back soon when I can tell you my exact thoughts and findings. In the meantime if you would like to see what other blusher palettes Makeup Revolution has to offer click HERE.

Thank you for stopping by today lovely people.
