No7 Radiant Results Revitalising Micellar Cleansing Water.

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa.

I’ve been shopping a bit on the  Boots website just lately, and a few weeks ago I treated myself to the Boots No7 Beauty Vault, you can read all about it HERE. One of the products that I was very taken with is the No7 Radiant Results Revitalising Micellar Cleansing Water. I’m loving skincare products that are going to help my skin look more radiant and glowing, it does make for younger-looking skin, and as I’ve aged and got to  60 years old my skin had a tendency to look dull and grey, which made me look older, I feel anyway.

This is a huge 200ml bottle with a very handy pump-action application delivery system. 2 or 3 pumps are enough for a quick cleanse in the morning or to freshen up during the day. It has Red Ginseng and No7’s own Tri-vit complex in the ingredients that make it perfect for makeup removal too. I applied a couple of pumps of the micellar water onto a cotton pad and held it over each eye for a minute or so to dissolve my mascara, it took a couple of swipes before it was completely removed, it didn’t sting my eyes, and my lashes felt soft. It also did a great job at removing my face makeup, again without my skin stinging and without my face being left dry and tight. Afterward, my skin looks clean and bright and glowing, just what I want! (I then go in for a second cleanse, with a lotion, balm or oil cleanser) This micellar water is suitable for eyes, face, and lips and is totally unperfumed making it great if you have sensitive skin.

You can check out this and lots of other wonderful products from No7 HERE.

Boots No7 Haul

Hello lovelies, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty.

I did a bit of online shopping on the BootsUK website, I did pick it up in-store which I love doing. I wanted one of the skincare bundles and they were available only via the website, and also at the time of order, they had a 3 for 2 on selected No7 products. I thought that I would share with you what I picked up.

I got myself the No7 Radiant Results Revitalising Cleansing Trio, which included the Foaming Cleanser, Daily Face Polish and the Toning Water. All the products together amount to £26.50 when bought separately but as a bundle, it was just £15. I also picked up the Radiant Results Cleansing Balm, at £13. The No7 Lash Impact Lash Serum is £16, so my cleansing balm being the cheapest item was FREE! I do love 3 for 2 offers, don’t you?

I will, of course, be writing reviews of all the products. The eyelash serum I have started using every night and it’s stated I should see a difference in 8 weeks. I’ll keep you posted. I do have a review of the Cleansing Balm that I bought previously HERE. I definitely recommend the Order online and collect from your local store. It’s free when you spend over £10, and I also chose the day to pick it up too. Boots will take your mobile number and will send you a text when your order is ready for collection. It’s a great service.

I haven’t been gifted anything or paid to write this, I was just sharing with you how happy I am with the products I purchased and the great service I received as well. Check out Boots 3 for 2 offers HERE

Two of the Best Micellar Cleansers, and they’re Vegan too!

Hi, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty.

I have purchased a few cleansers just recently, and two are of the Micellar variety. I’ve got a Micellar Oil and a Micellar Water, both of them are from B. Skincare which is a Superdrug own brand.

So let me begin with the Micellar Oil.

Firstly, I just want to say that if you look at the Superdrug website description of the Micellar Oil the photo shows the oil to be bright orange in colour. It really isn’t. It’s actually a very pale amber colour. Anyhoo, this is an oil that goes milky when water is added onto the skin. I’ve used it over my eyes and it doesn’t irritate mine at all. I don’t use it to remove eye makeup, although it does get the last traces of mascara that may have been left behind. This has Pomegranate seed oil within so it is very moisturising and brightening for the skin, there’s Vitamin E to soothe and protect and Chia seed oil to purify. You can apply and cleanse the skin by way of using the oil on a cotton pad and swiping over the face, but my chosen method is by pouring some into my hand and massaging over the face then removing with a muslin cloth or face cloth. Once rinsed away my skin feels very clean with no oily residue left behind. It’s good to massage on to the face and leave to sink right in then wash away with a wet face cloth, I’ve done this a few times and my skin really does feel so clean afterwards, and not dry and tight. This is a really lovely cleansing oil.

Now, this is the B. Skincare Micellar Water. It’s gorgeous for me to use first thing in the morning before my bath. It cleanses, tones and just refreshes the skin beautifully. I used to use micellar waters to remove my eye makeup only, but now I always use a separate eye makeup remover and just use the micellar water on my face. I have used this on my eyes to remove eye makeup to test it out and it’s pretty good at the job. I did, however, have to give it a couple of goes to be mascara free. To use this in my makeup removal/cleansing routine I remove eye makeup, then I use a cleansing oil or balm cleanser or cream cleanser then I will use my micellar water to ensure I have got all traces of makeup off of my skin, then I would carry on with all the other steps in my usual skincare routine. The B. Skincare Micellar Water really is the best micellar water I’ve used so far, and I have tried a few. It doesn’t sting because it’s so gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh and cleansed. Perfect for me.

{AD-gifted} Cyclax Moistura. 2 in 1 Cleanser/Toner and Daily Moisturiser…

The Cyclax company was founded in 1896 by Frances Hamilton Forsyth, under the name of Mrs. Frances Hemming in London. It’s one of the worlds oldest cosmetics companies still in existence! In 1939 Cyclax started to provide beauty kits to servicewomen which included their famous ” Auxilary Red lipstick” the company was granted a Royal Warrant by 1961. During the 1970s Cyclax was bought by Lehman Brothers Inc, which lead to rebranding and new products being added to their range. Cyclax was then sold to Cooper Laboratories, before being sold on again to British American Cosmetics. It has changed hands a number of times over the years, but all the while still creating new products. In 2018 Cyclax was acquired by Three Pears International Wholesale, who are “committed to 100% UK manufacture of all Cyclax products”

The Cyclax ranges:

Cyclax Moistura is a beautifully formulated heritage anti-aging skin and body care range including eye, hand and night moisturising creams and lotions, exfoliators, cleansers, and toners. Its key ingredients include natural plant oils, vitamin complex, natural plant extracts, collagen, and a peptide complex

Cyclax Nature Pure is a formulated skin and body care range blending natural ingredients to address all skin care needs. Including night cream, facial scrubs, face and neck creams, hand and body lotions, bath and shower gels, moisturisers and exfoliators. Nature Pure’s key natural ingredients include Aloe Vera, Apricot Oil, Cocoa, Evening Primrose Oil, Green tea, Lavender and Vitamin E.

Cyclax Sun is a developing range of sun protection and sprays with UVA/UVB  protection. SPF 10,15, 20, 30, 45, 50, all day water resistant and SPF 50 baby ranges. All Cyclax Sun will offer key skin care ingredients in all products ensuring ultimate hydration is delivered to the skin.  After sun lotions, soothing gels and sprays will include Neem Oil, Cucumber, Chamomile, Shea Butter and Aloe Vera. The self-tanning range includes lotion and spray tan with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera. Cyclax sun is a range under development and features a new range of fake tan aimed at a volume market, and available now.

Natural Classic is the original Henna Treatment Wax with Pure Henna. Revitalises all types of hair, especially hair that has been damaged by bleaching, perming or tinting. A new addition the Natural Classic range is dry shampoo with two elegant fragrances in a handy purse-sized 150ml spray.

I have 2 products from the Cyclax Moistura range. A range particularly good if you are like me and have dry dehydrated skin. The first of the products is the Moistura Cleanser/Toner, which is a 2 in 1 product. I have been loving using this first thing in the morning.

The lovely fresh smell just livens up the senses as I use it. I have tried two ways of using the cleanser/toner. The first way by massaging over the face and then removing with a face cloth. It works for me! The second is to pour the cleanser/toner onto a damp cotton pad and swipe over the face. It works for me too! I have used it to remove makeup, and although it struggled to remove all my eye makeup in one go, it didn’t sting my eyes to go in for a second time. But it really does leave my skin feeling fresh and cleansed without being left dry and tight. A really lovely cleanser/toner that I am enjoying using.

The second Cyclax product is a delightful moisturiser. This is the Moistura Daily Moisturiser for Normal/Dry skin.

The first thing I noticed from this cream is the subtle smell of, well to me it was rose, but checking the ingredients there is no rose in the cream. It does contain Witch Hazel so maybe that is what the fragrance is, and it’s rather lovely. It also has lanolin and Beeswax within, so it isn’t suitable for vegans. This is a lightweight cream but it certainly packs in some moisture. It’s a perfect moisturiser for this time of year if you do prefer a lighter day cream but still need the hydration too. It’s been keeping my skin nice and moisturised all day until I’m ready to do my night time routine. As for the Cyclax Daily Moisturiser under foundation, it works perfectly for me whether I am using a matte or dewy foundation.

You will find all the Cyclax products in many chemists/pharmacies, and both independent and national retailers. I’ve also seen them on the Fragrance Direct and Amazon websites. If you would like to see the complete Cyclax range you will find them HERE.

Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser…..Review

Hey beauty lovers welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty..

I have been buying this product for ages and ages, and I have never ever written a review to say why I re-purchase. This is a Superdrug own brand and it’s from the Naturally Radiant range this is the Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser. By the way I did purchase this myself with my own money.

Enriched with glorious Cocoa Butter and infused with skin brightening ingredients such as Kiwi Fruit and Mulberry extracts which helps to perk up the skins radiance and even out skin tone. The Kiwi fruit is a rich source of Vitamin C which helps with the brightening effects of the skin and also helps with protecting the skin against free radicals, along with the Mulberry to help with the toning down of discolouration.

The Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser is a very thick cream, so thick in fact you really do need to squeeze the tube to dispense the product. It smells gorgeous, a lovely fresh and fruity fragrance that wakens up the senses when I use it in the morning, it removes the last of my makeup when I use in the evening time as a second cleanse too. I use a 10p size amount of product and massage really well over my face and gently over my eyes, just in case I haven’t removed all mascara in the first cleanse. I then wet the muslin cloth that is supplied with the cleanser and work across my face to remove all traces of product. Afterwards my skin is so clean and soft and the muslin cloth has given me a bit of exfoliation. A really fabulous cleanser that I continue to use on a regular basis. It’s my go to cleanser when I’m sent products to review because I know I can get my skin deep down clean ready to take on new product. Love, Love, Love!

The Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser from Superdrug is on offer right now HERE. I’m going to be stocking up! Thank you for reading.
