I thought I’d just share with you the very latest beauty box that Jane Cunningham aka British Beauty Blogger has put together for Latest in Beauty. This is the fourth time that Jane has collaborated with Latest in Beauty, and they’ve named this one The Dream Box IV. All the products in the box have been tried, tested and given the BBB seal of approval.

As soon as the beauty box went live on the  Latest in Beauty website at 8am last Sunday morning we (me and Mark) were right onto it! I have tried to get my hands on a BBB box since her first one and always missed out before, this time I wasn’t going to miss it and I was delighted when Mark said my box was ordered!

Superdrug Booty….

Hello and welcome back to Elegant Ageless Beauty.

So, we popped into a town near us on Friday to pick up some of the new MUA Makeup Academy Autumn/Winter range from Superdrug, I’d already seen on their own website what I wanted to try but unfortunately not everything I was after was in stock so I had to order my other products online. Mark actually bought these for me, here’s what I got.

IMG_8149

One of my favourite ranges from Superdrug own brand is the Natural Radiance collection of skincare, I’ve used their Day Cream, Night Cream and Eye Cream and always wanted to try their own Hot Cloth Cleanser so I picked one up. At the moment selected products from the  Natural Radiance range is HALF PRICE, my cleanser was reduced to just £2.95 HERE

I also picked up a Charlie Bodyspray in the fragrance Edge. It’s fruity, it’s floral, it’s slightly musk too and it’s just £1.00 on selected Charlie Bodysprays HERE

I love Superdrug oval cotton wool pads, they’re huge! There’s 50 in a pack for £1.89, although there is also an offer to buy 2 packs for £2.50 HERE

Then on to MUA Makeup Academy. One of their new releases a few weeks ago was the multi formula palettes, and I picked up Amour. It holds 10 powder eyeshadows and 2 cream metallic shades and it’s just £5.00 HERE or on the MUA website HERE

Also from MUA Makeup Academy, and from their new Autumn/Winter collection I got myself Skin Define Hydro Foundation in the shade Beige. It’s just £4.00 at Superdrug HERE and MUA website HERE.

Lastly from MUA is the Skin Define Hydro Primer, I’m really looking forward to trying these new face products! The primer is just £5.00 at Superdrug HERE and from MUA website HERE too.

So that’s my little beauty booty from Superdrug! I’ll be back with reviews after I’ve used them all a few times, especially the cleanser so I hope you will look out for that. Thank you for reading today.

My First Beauty Box!!

Hello lovelies!

I’m a bit late to the party when it comes to beauty boxes, you know those gorgeous subscription ones that you get sent every month, the ones that contain beauty products some full size and some trial/travel size, which can also be a bit hit and miss? You know the ones I mean don’t you? Mark actually surprised me with one this week he bought one for me from Latest in Beauty.

IMG_1644

He bought me The Glamour Spring Edit Beauty Box, which is in conjunction with Glamour magazine. The box itself is a pretty mint green and purple, very Springlike and very sturdy too.

IMG_1631

The products themselves are wrapped in pretty polka dot tissue paper and holding it together is a sticky seal with the logo. On top of the products were three information cards. One card tells me what the products are, one is a card which gives you discount codes for the brands in the box, and lastly there is a card with a pre-paid subscription code to Glamour magazine, 12 print issues + 12 ipad and iphone editions.

IMG_1683

OMG! That was me when I opened the tissue wrapping. The contents are just fabulous. There are 8 FULL SIZE products in this box. From Revlon there is a Gel Envy nail polish and top coat, From Beauty UK, the very popular High Brow eyebrow kit, from Kiko a long-lasting stick eyeshadow, from Model Co a cream lip and cheek tint and the last cosmetics product is a pretty lip gloss from Rimmel. Also in this box of beautiful treasures is a Nuxe hydrating face mask and a Moroccan Oil hair mask, lastly there’s a cute little sample of an Ellie Saab perfume. I believe that there is approximately £69 worth of products in the Glamour Spring Edit box, plus the pre-paid subscription to Glamour magazine too, this is just outstanding value for just £16.99. Absolutely amazing! I’m yet to try all the products but as soon as I do I shall be back telling you my thoughts. In the meantime, if you would like to see this box and more then just click HERE to go to the Latest In Beauty website.

See you soon.

MARCH FAVOURITES!!

Hello lovely people!

Well Spring has sprung here in England but it’s a bit blustery today. It has just dawned on me that we are a week into April and I haven’t done my March favourites Doh. Please keep reading to find out what I have loved during the month of March!

IMG_3401

I have started to love this gorgeous face wash all over again. Not only does it smell amazing, it cleanses my skin beautifully and leaves it feeling so soft and fresh. My skin doesn’t feel dry and tight afterwards either which is a bonus! I got this from our local supermarket but you can buy Organic Surge online from HERE

IMG_4829

My MUA Make Up Academy matte palette has become a huge favourite over the last month. It has shades within it for Spring and for the rest of the year too, I use this palette alongside another MUA palette. (see below)

IMG_8620

MUA Luxe “Pretty Edgy” Palette. A mix of matte and frosted shimmery eyeshadows, works so well with the matte palette (above) I have been enjoying using both of them. Check out MUA palettes and more HERE

IMG_7439

My gorgeous Calvin Klein “Euphoria” prize that I won from “re-tweeting” a tweet on twitter. I am loving Calvin Klein fragrance at the moment, Mark bought me “Downtown” for Valentines day, but I don’t have pics to show you. I have really enjoyed my CK perfumes through March.

IMG_7965

And I just had to include our electronic cigarettes that both me and Mark started using to help us quit smoking. I would like to be at the stage when I don’t need to use this at all. The beginning of May would be ideal, it’s when my new granddaughter is due to arrive! We bought our Ecig Wizzard cigarettes from HERE.

So that was just a few beauty related things I have loved in March. What have you been loving? I’d love to know ‘cos I’m nosy like that!

Have a great week lovely people!

FEBRUARY FAVOURITES!…….

Hello again lovely people

I thought I would do another blog post today and bring to you my February favourites, just a few things I have been loving this month.

IMG_6457

Champneys Skin Comforting Bathing Milk, this has been absolutely gorgeous in my bath every day. It’s nearly all gone though so it will be going into my empties bin very soon. It doesn’t make bubbles, it is what it says a milk and makes a beautifully fragranced milky bath. When I run the water and pour in the bathing milk it fills my bathroom with a glorious fragrance. Luxury.

IMG_6465

I think I have finally found my perfect cleanser in this fab Loreal Age Perfect Cleansing Milk. I use as you would a cleansing balm, by massaging it into my skin and wipe it away with a wet face cloth. It just makes my skin feel really clean and fresh looking. Love it and I think this will most probably feature in most monthly favourites posts.

IMG_6498

Obviously I have to include the fab toner too! I wasn’t really into toners as part of my skin care routine, but since using this I am converted. I really need to try the day and night creams that go along side these Loreal beauties, but I need to use up other creams first.

cover_conceal_-_natural

My MUA Make up Academy Cover and Conceal is another product that I shall always have in my monthly favourites too. It covers everything I need to cover, I can use it under my 50 plus year old eyes without it falling into fine lines or going cakey.

IMG_7439

This a very new perfume I have only had it for about a week, It’s a prize I won via twitter from @davelackie I am in love with this perfume! I shall be doing a proper review soon.

IMG_4854

My last favourite from this month is the eye cream I was trialling for Avon. This will need replacing soon, it’s nearly all used up. It has a rich cream in the main part of packaging that I use day and night, and in the top is a solid serum/balm that I use at night. It has made a difference to the way my eyes look, and keeps the under eye area hydrated.

Well that has been my February favourites, what have you loved this month?
