My Top 6 MUA Makeup Academy Products….

Hey lovelies, Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty..

As regular readers of EAB might know, my favourite High Street budget makeup brand is the fabulous MUA Makeup Academy. Obviously I love them for  the price point of the products, but you also get great quality for such little money too. I thought that I would share with you my top 5 MUA products that I’ve been using for a long time or I’ve just found and been loving quite recently.

MuaMattePowder

The Skin Define Matte Perfect Loose Powder. This is a newer product in my makeup bag and I do use it every time I wear makeup. It really gives my skin the matte finish I like, it doesn’t clog up my pores and it’s nourishing with the Vitamins A and E, and Jojoba in there too. See my full review HERE

The award winning Pro-Base Prime & Conceal. This is just fabulous! It’s got everything you need for colour correcting different areas of the face, it’s soft and creamy and blends beautifully. I’ve actually “hit pan” on the salmon pink shade now, it’s the one I use most of all. Click HERE for full review.

The gorgeous Elysium eye shadow palette is my most reached for MUA palette. Gorgeous mix of shimmer and matte shades for a pretty daytime look, to the sexy sultry smokey eye for evenings out. If you would like to see my full review, please click HERE.

For Spring and Summer time I’m loving a more natural look for my lips. For me there is nothing better than the Sweet Sheen Lip Balm in the shade Coral Reef. It’s just the right amount of colour and is super hydrating for the lips. You can see my full review HERE.

MuaLipScrub

I adore this lip scrub, I use it every night during my evening skincare routine. No more waking up with dry lips for me. It sloughs away all the dry skin and hydrates and conditions them with lovely Vitamin E. You can see my full review HERE.

MuaAvocadoMascara

The Eye Define Nourish & Care Volume Mascara is a new discovery for me and it’s now my favourite budget brand mascara. It’s so black, it volumises my eye lashes and it conditions too. The brush itself is perfect and grabs every lash for me. You can see my full review HERE.

So that’s my top 6 MUA Makeup Academy products that I love to use on a regular basis. If you haven’t checked out MUA yet, click HERE.

My Top 5 under £10……Monthly Favourites

Hello gorgeous people!

It’s a while since I have done any kind of “favourites” post, so I thought today I would share with you, AND recommend to you my top five beauty/makeup products that are £10 or under. Let’s begin with skincare.

IMG_1009 (2)

The Bio Cellulose Bee Venom and Royal Jelly fabric face from Timeless Truth was sent to me for review by Angela at Beauty Masks. This is an awesome face mask for ageing and slackened skin, it is very hydrating, stimulates the production of collagen and plumps up the skin. It’s £7.90 HERE and you can read my full review HERE.

Next is my beautiful moisturising day cream with SPF 15. It’s Naturally Radiant which is a Superdrug own brand. This has really made my skin look less dull and grey, after using I have a lovely radiant glow to my face. The Brightening Day Cream is £5.99 from HERE. And you can read my review HERE.

My favourite eyeshadow palette of the moment is the limited edition 5th Birthday palette that was very kindly sent to me by MUA Makeup Academy for my own birthday. I’ve use this so much since I’ve had it, it’s a stunning palette with 12 beautiful creamy feel shades. It’s just £4.00 from HERE and I have a review for you to read HERE.

Viper

The Viper Mascara from Makeup Revolution is my favourite budget mascara under £10. If you have problems with short sparse eyelashes then I would say go get this. When I was younger I had long thick lashes that have diminished with age, but since I found this mascara I have lashes again! It’s just £3.00 from HERE and of course I have written a review HERE.

Lastly, I’ve been loving the gorgeous Sweet Sheen Lip Balm in Coral Reef from MUA Makeup Academy. Perfect for Summer with the moisturisation it gives to my lips, the coral shade just adds sunshine to the face. There are other colours that I really want to get too, a really pretty moisturising lip balm at just £2.00 from HERE and of course my review is HERE

March Favourites….

Hello again lovelies.

I hope you are all okay, and didn’t get too “fooled” yesterday. So, now we are in a new month and that means it’s time to share with you the products I have been loving through March. So let’s get started.

The first thing is a handbag Mark bought me for Valentines Day, I didn’t start using it until last month this is firmly in my favourites because it’s so beautiful.

IMG_9465

It’s just gorgeous! It’s by the fantastic British brand LYDC, Mark bought it from a super accessories store in our town. It’s a stunning bright coral with cream laser cutout on the front, and as you can see it’s cute little birds in a tree. I love it! If you want to check out LYDC accessories, which happens to be a favourite with a lot of British celebrities, click HERE

My next product just has to be my latest purchase from Makeup Revolution, of course.

IMG_0494

It’s the amazing FLAWLESS palette, 32 super pigmented mix of matte and shimmer eyeshadows to create any look you want, from nude/natural daytime looks through to your sexy glamourous dark smoky eye looks. Makeup Revolution have also bought out a Flawless Matte collection palette which is next on my shopping list! You can buy this awesome palette HERE

Another new product that I bought in March and just love is from MUA Makeup Academy, and I really want to get more shades.

IMG_0316 (2)

It’s the ever so pretty and moisturising Sweet Sheen Lip Balm, I bought the shade Coral Reef and it’s perfect for Spring and Summer. For a lip balm it’s really pigmented and provides gorgeous colour on the lips as well as keeping them very soft. There are 6 shades to choose from, and I rather fancy them all! Take a look at what I mean HERE

These next two products are nearly always in my monthly favourites, I just can’t imagine using anything else right now. The Thea Skincare eye cream is just gorgeous and I’m so happy with the way it’s working on my eye area. I use it every day and night. It provides me with perfect moisturisation that lasts all day, and is a perfect base for makeup.

IMG_6490

Also from Thea Skincare is the beautiful Lip Creme. Again I use this day and night. It really does nourish my lips and provides plumpness without all the tingling, which I don’t like from other lip plumpers. All Thea Skincare is made from organic, natural ingredients and you can take a look HERE

That’s about it for my monthly favourites for now, I’ve a few reviews on the way so I hope you will look out for those. And to all of you who celebrate it, HAPPY EASTER!

Sweet Sheen Lip Balm from MUA Makeup Academy…. My Thoughts.

Hello again lovelies!

I’m back today with my thoughts of the MUA Makeup Academy Sweet Sheen Lip Balm. I bought the shade Coral Reef.

IMG_0316 (2)

I am loving this lip balm! It glides on smoothly and feels so moisturising on the lips and gives them a subtle sheen with lovely sheer colour, almost a tint. Absolutely perfect for the Spring and Summer months, and as with most of MUA’s lip products they have that lovely vanilla fragrance to them, but they don’t have the flavouring of vanilla. The longevity of wear is about the same as any other lip balm, you do have to re – apply. Having said that the colour fades out before the moisturisation does, my lips feel soft  and moisturised for a couple of hours.

Sweet Sheen Lip Balm – Coral Reef

There are 6 gorgeous shades of Sweet Sheen lip balms and I want them all! I just love the feel of them on my lips and I would definitely wear them instead of lipstick during the Spring and Summer when I’m wearing a lighter make up. These beauties are just £2.00 from Here

Thank you for stopping by and reading today lovelies.
