My Skincare Regime…. AM

Hello again lovelies!

I thought I’d share with you today my morning skin care regime, I’ll do a separate post for my nightime regime. Firstly my routine is personal to me it’s what I like to do, obviously we are all different what works for me might not work for you, and vice versa. So let me tell you what I use and how I use it.

IMG_2727

Firstly let’s pretend I’ve had my bath and I’ve tied back my hair. I love a face wash in the mornings, and my “go to” face wash right now is the Organic Surge Daily Care Refreshing Face Wash. It does exactly what it says on the bottle, it’s very refreshing and it really wakes me up first thing in the morning. It smells divine of rose geranium leaf essential oils, it’s sls free paraben free, it makes my skin feel so clean and fresh without that dry tight feeling. I love this face wash! If I feel my skin needs a bit of a treat, I follow my face wash with the Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche, I use it all over my face up to my eye contour leaving it on for 10 minutes while I have a coffee. I then massage the masque over my face for a minute then remove it using my L’Oreal Age Perfect Refreshing Toner on a cotton wool pad. After using the masque my skin feels so soft and very hydrated, I could almost go without moisturiser. But I don’t, I follow up with my Superdrug Naturally Radiant Day Cream with SPF 15. It means my skin is makeup ready if I decide to wear any. I finish up with my favourite eye cream, which is Thea Skincare Age Revival Uplifting Eye Cream. I use it all around my eyes in an upwards and outwards motion to help give me a little bit of a lift in that area. It’s very hydrating and it really does plump out any wrinkles.

I’m quite happy with the skincare I’m using at the moment, and if you would like to “shop my stash” here are some links.

March Favourites….

Hello again lovelies.

I hope you are all okay, and didn’t get too “fooled” yesterday. So, now we are in a new month and that means it’s time to share with you the products I have been loving through March. So let’s get started.

The first thing is a handbag Mark bought me for Valentines Day, I didn’t start using it until last month this is firmly in my favourites because it’s so beautiful.

IMG_9465

It’s just gorgeous! It’s by the fantastic British brand LYDC, Mark bought it from a super accessories store in our town. It’s a stunning bright coral with cream laser cutout on the front, and as you can see it’s cute little birds in a tree. I love it! If you want to check out LYDC accessories, which happens to be a favourite with a lot of British celebrities, click HERE

My next product just has to be my latest purchase from Makeup Revolution, of course.

IMG_0494

It’s the amazing FLAWLESS palette, 32 super pigmented mix of matte and shimmer eyeshadows to create any look you want, from nude/natural daytime looks through to your sexy glamourous dark smoky eye looks. Makeup Revolution have also bought out a Flawless Matte collection palette which is next on my shopping list! You can buy this awesome palette HERE

Another new product that I bought in March and just love is from MUA Makeup Academy, and I really want to get more shades.

IMG_0316 (2)

It’s the ever so pretty and moisturising Sweet Sheen Lip Balm, I bought the shade Coral Reef and it’s perfect for Spring and Summer. For a lip balm it’s really pigmented and provides gorgeous colour on the lips as well as keeping them very soft. There are 6 shades to choose from, and I rather fancy them all! Take a look at what I mean HERE

These next two products are nearly always in my monthly favourites, I just can’t imagine using anything else right now. The Thea Skincare eye cream is just gorgeous and I’m so happy with the way it’s working on my eye area. I use it every day and night. It provides me with perfect moisturisation that lasts all day, and is a perfect base for makeup.

IMG_6490

Also from Thea Skincare is the beautiful Lip Creme. Again I use this day and night. It really does nourish my lips and provides plumpness without all the tingling, which I don’t like from other lip plumpers. All Thea Skincare is made from organic, natural ingredients and you can take a look HERE

That’s about it for my monthly favourites for now, I’ve a few reviews on the way so I hope you will look out for those. And to all of you who celebrate it, HAPPY EASTER!

February Favourites…..

Hello again lovelies welcome back!

Well it’s a new month, Spring is on its way (hooray!) so I thought I would share with you the products I have been enjoying during February.

group

So, let’s start on the left shall we? The Thea Skincare Uplifting Eye Cream has been a huge favourite since Thea sent me it to review, it really is the best eye cream I’ve ever used AND it’s one I have recommended not only here on my blog but also to family & friends. If you would like to read my full review go HERE.

Another favourite from the last month, again from Thea Skincare is the Plump & Define Lip Creme. A God send at this time of year with the wind and rain and cold and of course the central heating too. This lip creme is so moisturising, it helps keep my lips soft and smooth. If you would like to read my review you can go HERE.

One of my hero products and has been for a few years is the Rimmel Nail Nurse Nail Rescue. Since I got rid of my acrylic nails and false nails my natural nails have never looked better and it’s all thanks to this amazing nail treatment. I use the treatment as per the instructions once a month, and in between I use it as a base coat for my manicure. You can see how I use it HERE.

I’ve not yet reviewed this product by MUA Makeup Academy, it’s the Pro-Base Primer and it’s so nice! It really gets my face all prepared for foundation and helps to make it last longer too. Look out for my review later lovelies.

I’ve not had this lipstick long only a few weeks but it was in February and it’s gorgeous so I just had to include it in my faves. I’ve not reviewed it yet but will be getting onto it soon. This lovely lippy is from Makeup Revolution and it’s in the shade “Dusky” a pretty pink shade that’s so soft and creamy on the lips. I shall be wearing this a lot in the coming Spring/Summer.

My favourite makeup palette from the last month is the gorgeous GO palette from Makeup Revolution. This is  a super palette that holds 6 eye colours, highlighter, bronzer and blusher. It really is my GO too palette of the moment! You can check out my review HERE.

My Ariane Poole Luxury Black Mascara was sent to me by Ariane to review and I was hooked at first sweep of the wand! It makes my eyes look like I’ve got eyelashes again, it gives me length and volume without making my lashes hard and clumpy. You can see my review HERE.

Finally another complexion product from MUA Makeup Academy, it’s the Pro-Base Prime and Conceal powder. This is lovely stuff. It’s a baked powder so it’s very soft when applied to the skin, and it doesn’t sink into fine lines and wrinkles. You can see HERE how I use it.

So, lovelies that’s what I have been loving during February and if you would like to see anymore from the brands I’ve mentioned here are some links:

Ariane Poole

Makeup Revolution

Thank you for reading.

MY FAVOURITES AND HIGHLIGHTS OF 2014

Hello again lovelies!

I hope you have all had a fab New Year and a good start to 2015. I thought that I would share with you just a few of my favourite products and highlights of 2014. Firstly in February 2014 Elegant Ageless Beauty turned a year old, I never thought that I would reach 6 months let alone still be here a year on from that! We are almost 2 now and it’s  been an amazing journey.

In March of last year I went to my first event as a Beauty Blogger, I was invited to attend the launch of Makeup Revolution and it was certainly a highlight of 2014 for me. I was given some gorgeous products to bring home to use and review on my blog. Unfortunately I don’t think I was quite what they were looking for as a beauty blogger, they never asked me to review anything again.

IMG_6490

I have been lucky enough in 2014 to have been sent some beautiful products for review, and here are some of my favourites. One of my favourite skincare brands is Thea Skincare and I was sent a very gorgeous lip cream to use and review, to be honest I had always used lip balms but Plump and Define Lip Cream has changed the way I care for my lips now. You can see my full review HERE

IMG_5813

Another product I was sent from Thea Skincare in 2014 is this amazing eye cream, and it’s actually the first time that I have really recommended a product to readers. You can read my full review HERE

IMG_6863

I have really gotten into cloth face masks over the last few months, especially when I was sent some thoroughly fabulous Timeless Truth face masks from Angela at Beauty Masks. I still have one more to review for you, but you can see my full review of this one HERE.

IMG_1247

I discovered this awesome foundation last year it’s The One Foundation from Makeup Revolution. It appeared to be rather liquid when I first bought it, but it’s one of my favourite foundations. You can read my full review HERE.

IMG_2790

The gorgeous Ever After Matte Palette from MUA Makeup Academy became a favourite in 2014, I have worn it rather a lot, and goes so well with other eye shadows I have from other brands that have more of a shimmer to them. I use this mainly in my crease and under the eyes. See my review HERE.

IMG_8128

Crystal Taupe Eyeshine is a gorgeous liquid to powder eye shadow that I was sent by Ariane Poole* It’s a beautiful shimmery eye shadow that dries to a powder finish. (I use this with the MUA Matte Palette) You can see my review HERE.

Oh I could actually go on and on with some more favourites! But I shall leave it here for now, maybe if you won’t be too bored I could do my hair and body care favourites in another post. I would just like to say a HUGE Thank You to ALL my readers for your support during 2014, and I hope to see you here in 2015.
