Beyond Flawless Palette by Makeup Revolution….My Thoughts…

Hello again lovelies!

So I thought I should let you know my thoughts of the palette I was using over the last couple of days. It’s the Beyond Flawless 32 eyeshadow palette from Makeup Revolution.

IMG_4011

Shiny black with the pretty rose gold branding  is now recognisable as Makeup Revolutions palettes, for a budget cosmetics brand that always looks so sophisticated.

IMG_3981

A  lovely nude/natural eyeshadow palette with shades ranging from ivory and cream, some pretty pinks and gold tones, plenty of brown and taupe shades, finally shades of grey and black to complete that sexy smoky eye look. There’s a mix of matte and shimmer shades in the palette, with the shimmer out numbering the matte. Each eyeshadow is very pigmented, not chalky, they are so buttery soft making them easy to blend and buildable to the intensity you want.

IMG_4316

I’ve only done 6 swatches because it was such bad light today it was difficult to get a good photo of all 32 shades, but you can see just how pigmented the eyeshadows are in the Beyond Flawless Palette. I’ve managed to show you 2 shimmer and 4 matte shades. Even the matte eyeshadows are just perfect for blending into the crease of the eyes, there’s hardly any “fallout” when applying.

So yes another super gorgeous eyeshadow palette from Makeup Revolution and it’s only £8.00! Take a look at this and more beauties like it HERE.

On Trial: Beyond Flawless Palette by Makeup Revolution….

Hello again lovely people!

So while I’m trying out my individual false lashes I thought I’d complete the look and put to test my new Beyond Flawless 32 eyeshadow palette by Makeup Revolution. Yes it’s another nude/natural palette, and it’s just as gorgeous as all the others!

This one though to me looks like it’s a mix of the Makeup Revolution Iconic 1, 2, and 3 palettes all in one gorgeous package! It’s got that perfect mix of matte and shimmer shades that I love. The mix of colours are fantastic too, ranging from cream/nude shades, with pinks and golds, browns and taupe, there is a lovely mix of light greys and smoky greys through to the darkest black for that smoky eye look. I think I’m going to rather enjoy using this!

So, I’m off to use this palette of gorgeousness and will get back to you soon with my thoughts and a few swatches too. The Beyond Flawless Palette is just £8.00 HERE.

Thank you for reading.

It’s Time To Get Reviewing! Flawless Matte Palette by Makeup Revolution….

Hello again lovelies!

So back in April Mark brought me some Makeup Revolution products for my birthday, and one palette is the Flawless Matte eyeshadow palette. They have been sitting in a box untouched waiting for some decent light to photograph it. I do like to take pictures before I use new products I think they look much nicer for readers to look at.

Gorgeous matte gold cardboard packaging!

Beautiful piano black with the branding in the iconic rose gold!

IMG_3004

There are 32 beautiful matte powder eyeshadows inside the Flawless Matte palette, ranging from nude/neutrals to browns and peaches through to greys and charcoals, allowing you to create looks that are so natural for daytime then they can also create that sexy smokey eye for night time too. To look at, so far I love it. I shall use it now and get back to you soon on how it applies, blends and wears. Sometimes matte eyeshadows can be chalky no matter how much you pay for it, and I’ve dipped my finger in one eyeshadow and it does feel rather lovely not chalky at all, but I’ll see how it fairs with my brushes. I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime if you would like to check out this palette and more besides, click HERE.

See you soon!

March Favourites….

Hello again lovelies.

I hope you are all okay, and didn’t get too “fooled” yesterday. So, now we are in a new month and that means it’s time to share with you the products I have been loving through March. So let’s get started.

The first thing is a handbag Mark bought me for Valentines Day, I didn’t start using it until last month this is firmly in my favourites because it’s so beautiful.

IMG_9465

It’s just gorgeous! It’s by the fantastic British brand LYDC, Mark bought it from a super accessories store in our town. It’s a stunning bright coral with cream laser cutout on the front, and as you can see it’s cute little birds in a tree. I love it! If you want to check out LYDC accessories, which happens to be a favourite with a lot of British celebrities, click HERE

My next product just has to be my latest purchase from Makeup Revolution, of course.

IMG_0494

It’s the amazing FLAWLESS palette, 32 super pigmented mix of matte and shimmer eyeshadows to create any look you want, from nude/natural daytime looks through to your sexy glamourous dark smoky eye looks. Makeup Revolution have also bought out a Flawless Matte collection palette which is next on my shopping list! You can buy this awesome palette HERE

Another new product that I bought in March and just love is from MUA Makeup Academy, and I really want to get more shades.

It’s the ever so pretty and moisturising Sweet Sheen Lip Balm, I bought the shade Coral Reef and it’s perfect for Spring and Summer. For a lip balm it’s really pigmented and provides gorgeous colour on the lips as well as keeping them very soft. There are 6 shades to choose from, and I rather fancy them all! Take a look at what I mean HERE

These next two products are nearly always in my monthly favourites, I just can’t imagine using anything else right now. The Thea Skincare eye cream is just gorgeous and I’m so happy with the way it’s working on my eye area. I use it every day and night. It provides me with perfect moisturisation that lasts all day, and is a perfect base for makeup.

IMG_6490

Also from Thea Skincare is the beautiful Lip Creme. Again I use this day and night. It really does nourish my lips and provides plumpness without all the tingling, which I don’t like from other lip plumpers. All Thea Skincare is made from organic, natural ingredients and you can take a look HERE

That’s about it for my monthly favourites for now, I’ve a few reviews on the way so I hope you will look out for those. And to all of you who celebrate it, HAPPY EASTER!

The Flawless Palette from Makeup Revolution…..

Welcome back lovelies!

So here it is, my thoughts on the Flawless Palette from Makeup Revolution. I love it! Truth be told I knew I would. Everything about it is just gorgeous. I have waited ages to get it and when I walked into our local Superdrug and saw that at last they were stocking Makeup Revolution products I was a happy bunny. I didn’t pick the palette up myself, I needed other things but when I got to the checkout little did I know Mark had sneaked it into the basket, he’d bought it for me!

IMG_0461

The palette is encased in this gorgeous rose gold box with FLAWLESS embossed rather than printed on it, the rest of the branding is printed in black, simply stunning!

IMG_0535

The palette itself is beautiful shiny piano black with the branding in rose gold, and being so shiny makes it easy to clean to keep it looking, ahem Flawless!

IMG_0494

When I opened the palette I noticed how huge the mirror  is, I can see my whole face not just parts of it. The names of each shade is written on an acetate sheet covering the eyeshadows (sorry I forgot to get a photo of it) There are 32 beautiful shades, from nude/naturals through to deep reds, browns, dark blues and blacks. As far as I can make out there are 8 matte shades, with others being very shimmery/frosted shades and even a couple that are glittery. The quality of ALL the eyeshadows are exceptional, so highly pigmented, creamy texture and so easily blendable and buildable to the intensity you want.

IMG_0610

Okay, so there are 32 eyeshadows and I just couldn’t swatch them all, light was fading so I have just picked out MY 6 of the best! From left to right: Red Night, Burgandy Nights, Green Stars, Blue Stars, Black Tie and Gold Digger. All are such beautiful colours and so easy to use. It doesn’t matter if you don’t use an eye primer while wearing them my non primed eye lasted just as long as the eye with primer. The matte eyeshadows weren’t chalky, and blended well into the crease of my eye and I had no fallout of any of the shadows I used. The beautiful Flawless palette is just £8.00 HERE from the Tam Beauty website OR Superdrug online HERE.

Thank you for reading today lovelies
