March Favourites….

Hello again lovelies.

I hope you are all okay, and didn’t get too “fooled” yesterday. So, now we are in a new month and that means it’s time to share with you the products I have been loving through March. So let’s get started.

The first thing is a handbag Mark bought me for Valentines Day, I didn’t start using it until last month this is firmly in my favourites because it’s so beautiful.

It’s just gorgeous! It’s by the fantastic British brand LYDC, Mark bought it from a super accessories store in our town. It’s a stunning bright coral with cream laser cutout on the front, and as you can see it’s cute little birds in a tree. I love it! If you want to check out LYDC accessories, which happens to be a favourite with a lot of British celebrities, click HERE

My next product just has to be my latest purchase from Makeup Revolution, of course.

It’s the amazing FLAWLESS palette, 32 super pigmented mix of matte and shimmer eyeshadows to create any look you want, from nude/natural daytime looks through to your sexy glamourous dark smoky eye looks. Makeup Revolution have also bought out a Flawless Matte collection palette which is next on my shopping list! You can buy this awesome palette HERE

Another new product that I bought in March and just love is from MUA Makeup Academy, and I really want to get more shades.

It’s the ever so pretty and moisturising Sweet Sheen Lip Balm, I bought the shade Coral Reef and it’s perfect for Spring and Summer. For a lip balm it’s really pigmented and provides gorgeous colour on the lips as well as keeping them very soft. There are 6 shades to choose from, and I rather fancy them all! Take a look at what I mean HERE

These next two products are nearly always in my monthly favourites, I just can’t imagine using anything else right now. The Thea Skincare eye cream is just gorgeous and I’m so happy with the way it’s working on my eye area. I use it every day and night. It provides me with perfect moisturisation that lasts all day, and is a perfect base for makeup.

Also from Thea Skincare is the beautiful Lip Creme. Again I use this day and night. It really does nourish my lips and provides plumpness without all the tingling, which I don’t like from other lip plumpers. All Thea Skincare is made from organic, natural ingredients and you can take a look HERE

That’s about it for my monthly favourites for now, I’ve a few reviews on the way so I hope you will look out for those. And to all of you who celebrate it, HAPPY EASTER!

The Flawless Palette from Makeup Revolution…..

Welcome back lovelies!

So here it is, my thoughts on the Flawless Palette from Makeup Revolution. I love it! Truth be told I knew I would. Everything about it is just gorgeous. I have waited ages to get it and when I walked into our local Superdrug and saw that at last they were stocking Makeup Revolution products I was a happy bunny. I didn’t pick the palette up myself, I needed other things but when I got to the checkout little did I know Mark had sneaked it into the basket, he’d bought it for me!

IMG_0461

The palette is encased in this gorgeous rose gold box with FLAWLESS embossed rather than printed on it, the rest of the branding is printed in black, simply stunning!

IMG_0535

The palette itself is beautiful shiny piano black with the branding in rose gold, and being so shiny makes it easy to clean to keep it looking, ahem Flawless!

IMG_0494

When I opened the palette I noticed how huge the mirror  is, I can see my whole face not just parts of it. The names of each shade is written on an acetate sheet covering the eyeshadows (sorry I forgot to get a photo of it) There are 32 beautiful shades, from nude/naturals through to deep reds, browns, dark blues and blacks. As far as I can make out there are 8 matte shades, with others being very shimmery/frosted shades and even a couple that are glittery. The quality of ALL the eyeshadows are exceptional, so highly pigmented, creamy texture and so easily blendable and buildable to the intensity you want.

Okay, so there are 32 eyeshadows and I just couldn’t swatch them all, light was fading so I have just picked out MY 6 of the best! From left to right: Red Night, Burgandy Nights, Green Stars, Blue Stars, Black Tie and Gold Digger. All are such beautiful colours and so easy to use. It doesn’t matter if you don’t use an eye primer while wearing them my non primed eye lasted just as long as the eye with primer. The matte eyeshadows weren’t chalky, and blended well into the crease of my eye and I had no fallout of any of the shadows I used. The beautiful Flawless palette is just £8.00 HERE from the Tam Beauty website OR Superdrug online HERE.

Thank you for reading today lovelies

Road Testing Again: Flawless Palette by Makeup Revolution….

Hello again my lovelies!

While shopping in Superdrug last Saturday I was so happy to see that at long last my local store had finally stocked Makeup Revolution. So I just had to buy the gorgeous “Flawless” palette which I have wanted to have since it was first released.

FLAWLESS

The “Flawless” palette has 32 gorgeous shades to create a variety of looks. I shall be using it today and coming back later to tell you my final thoughts. Some of the shades in the palette are already duplicated in other Makeup Revolution palettes I have in my collection looking at it closely, but there are also shades that I’ve not seen before so I’m looking forward to testing them out. I shall be trying the eyeshadows with an eye primer and without too, just to see how long they last and if they last without an eye primer.

So please join me again soon when I shall tell you exactly my thoughts of the Flawless palette.

A Saturday Shopping Trip!

Hello lovelies

So, I had a beauty shopping list all written out ready to transfer to my Superdrug online account and then Mark suggested that instead of waiting for the few days delivery why not just get in the car and go through to March (a little town near us) Superdrug. Sounded good to me, I’ll have my products in my hands TODAY!

IMG_0296

I’m pretty good when it comes to beauty shopping, I NEVER buy products I know I will never use, I NEVER buy anything because I only want to blog about it, I shall be using everything you can see in my little “haul”

I was desperate for some new nail products, I’ve loads of nail polish, but I needed files and cuticle oil. I plumped for a pack of “Long Lasting Nail Shapers” which are Superdrug’s own brand and were £1.99 for a pack of 2. I also got a “Cushioned Nail Buffer” again Superdrug brand, which was £1.89. I couldn’t find the cuticle oil I was after so instead I bought Superdrug  “Conditioning Cuticle Cream” which was £2.99 I needed a face scrub so I plumped for the “Smoothing Facial Scrub” from Simple for £2.66 My L’Oreal “Age Perfect Refreshing Toner” was £2.99 “Organix Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco” penetrating hair oil was £4.66 my “Eyelure Individual Lashes” were £5.35  For moisturiser I bought one from “Nivea” I chose the “Express Hydration Primer” which was only £3.32 and, I finally found I could buy Makeup Revolution products from my local Superdrug, only been waiting for nearly a year for that to happen! So I picked up (or rather Mark sneaked it into the basket, without me knowing) The “Flawless” eye shadow palette from Makeup Revolution, £8.00, lastly I bought 2 MUA Makeup Academy items, a clear nail polish which was £1.00 and one of their new “Sweet Sheen Lip Balm” which was £2.00.

There are a couple of items here that I shall be writing a review of, so I hope you will look out for them soon.

Thank you for reading
