A Small Essence Haul from Wilko…

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa.

Mark and I just had to get into the car and get out for a while on Sunday, after we had a really rubbish week. I wanted to purchase a few Essence cosmetics goodies from Wilko online but because the rubbish week was down to a bit of online fraud on Mark’s bank account we decided to go to our nearest Wilko store instead, safer that way.

I did write myself a list of Essence products I wanted but only managed to get a few from said list, our local store didn’t have everything in, but what I did buy I was happy with. I’ll be writing reviews on EAB soon.

I’m really looking forward to trying the Essence Camouflage 2 in 1 Foundation & Concealer, will I still need my concealer? We’ll see, and I will get back to you, soon  It was only £3.80. I’ve always wanted to try a lip oil, and when I saw this one by Essence I thought that I’d give it a go. I’ve no idea what a lip oil is for, does it colour, does it condition, does it hydrate? I’ll get back to you on that. The lip oil was just £2.00. I have wanted to try an Essence mascara for ages, especially one that claims to give “extreme volume and curl” my eyelashes or rather the state of them is really depressing me. I’d give my right arm to be able to go and get eyelash extensions done but until my numbers come up in the Lotto I shall keep on looking for my holy grail mascara. Could this be the one? I’ll let you know. The Essence False Lashes mascara is £2.80. I hate my lips as much as I do my eyelashes! If I could afford lip fillers I wouldn’t hesitate in getting them done! So until I do get that big Lotto cheque it’s lip plumping products for me! I picked up the Essence Volume On! lip plumping lipgloss, it’s a pretty nude peach shade, so I’ll give it a go and get back to you with my thoughts. The Essence Volume On! lip plumping lipgloss is £2.30 and finally I picked up a Nail Caring Oil it contains Apricot oil so I’m looking forward to trying that too. I’m in the middle of trialing some nail products at the moment, so I’ll let you know what the Essence product is like, soon. The Essence Nail Caring Oil is just £2.00.

I purchased my Essence products from my local Wilko stores but you can purchase online from Wilko too, HERE or from the Essence website HERE

Thank you for reading, I’ll be back soon with my thoughts on my Essence purchases.

A Small Fragrance Direct Haul…W7

Hello Lovelies, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty.

One of the places I like to shop for low budget cosmetics is Fragrance Direct, a website selling branded, discounted perfumes, aftershaves, cosmetics, haircare, skincare and beauty products. I’ll leave a link at the end of this post. Mark and I use the website quite a lot, we can get more for our money when we want presents for Christmas and birthdays, and for the occasional “haul” like today. I wanted some W7 cosmetics that I’d seen on a You Tube video, So we put an order in with Fragrance Direct last Friday lunchtime and it arrived on Monday afternoon, fantastic fast delivery from them! We paid £1.99 for standard tracked delivery, they state 5-7 working days from dispatch, it is however FREE standard tracked on orders over £40. At the moment of writing this post there is an offer of Buy 5 get 1 FREE!

CfxGPcDWEAAnGIl

I didn’t buy every product that I saw in the haul video, just the ones I really wanted to try from W7. So from the top of the picture is the Cheeky Trio, a blusher, bronzer and highlighter palette. Someone once said to me that there is a red lipstick out there for everyone, so I’ve been experimenting with a red lippy as I’ve never been a huge fan, and now I think I may have found MY perfect red lipstick! I bought a Butter Kiss lipstick in the shade Red Light. I needed some new eyelash curlers so I picked up Groovy Curls. The In the Mood eyeshadow palette look very similar to the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette, but at a fraction of the cost. Lastly I picked up a mascara and eyeliner pencil combo, this is the Big Lash Mascara combo in Blackest Black.

I will of course be bringing you reviews of everything in my little haul very soon, so I hope you will come back for them, in the meantime check out the fab bargains from Fragrance Direct HERE

Some More Beauty Booty!!

Hello my loves, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty.

Well another shopping trip just had to be done at Superdrug, this time it was an online purchase. Three items were in the sale so might not be available at the time of posting this, if they are I’ll leave links for you at the end.

IMG_8290

The first product I picked was something I’ve wanted to try for a while, and that’s the Superdrug own brand of Vitamin E Cleansing Oil. I’ll use it for a wee while and get back to you with my thoughts. It’s just £2.99 for 150 ml HERE To go with the cleansing oil I picked up the Vitamin E Toning Mist, again I’ll get back to you with my thoughts soon. The Toning Mist is also £2.99 HERE

The next 3 items are the ones I picked out of the sale section on the superdrug website. Theres two Dove Purely Pampering body washes with my favourite Shea Butter. They aren’t in the sale now, but the Dove Purely Pampering Hand Cream with Shea Butter is in the sale at just 40p for goodness sake! HERE

Lastly, I picked one of the newest eyeshadow palettes from MUA Makeup Academy, it’s from their Luxe range of cosmetics and I can tell you right now that I’m very excited by this little palette. After dipping my fingers and a brush into it all I shall tell you is that it is just A MAZE ING!! There are two new palettes just launched, I have Utopia and the other is Paradise, both are £8.00 HERE (Superdrug appear to have made a boob in their descriptions, calling both palettes Paradise)

So that’s my little Superdrug online beauty booty. I’ll be back soon with some reviews for you, thank you for stopping by today.

Superdrug Booty….

Hello and welcome back to Elegant Ageless Beauty.

So, we popped into a town near us on Friday to pick up some of the new MUA Makeup Academy Autumn/Winter range from Superdrug, I’d already seen on their own website what I wanted to try but unfortunately not everything I was after was in stock so I had to order my other products online. Mark actually bought these for me, here’s what I got.

IMG_8149

One of my favourite ranges from Superdrug own brand is the Natural Radiance collection of skincare, I’ve used their Day Cream, Night Cream and Eye Cream and always wanted to try their own Hot Cloth Cleanser so I picked one up. At the moment selected products from the  Natural Radiance range is HALF PRICE, my cleanser was reduced to just £2.95 HERE

I also picked up a Charlie Bodyspray in the fragrance Edge. It’s fruity, it’s floral, it’s slightly musk too and it’s just £1.00 on selected Charlie Bodysprays HERE

I love Superdrug oval cotton wool pads, they’re huge! There’s 50 in a pack for £1.89, although there is also an offer to buy 2 packs for £2.50 HERE

Then on to MUA Makeup Academy. One of their new releases a few weeks ago was the multi formula palettes, and I picked up Amour. It holds 10 powder eyeshadows and 2 cream metallic shades and it’s just £5.00 HERE or on the MUA website HERE

Also from MUA Makeup Academy, and from their new Autumn/Winter collection I got myself Skin Define Hydro Foundation in the shade Beige. It’s just £4.00 at Superdrug HERE and MUA website HERE.

Lastly from MUA is the Skin Define Hydro Primer, I’m really looking forward to trying these new face products! The primer is just £5.00 at Superdrug HERE and from MUA website HERE too.

So that’s my little beauty booty from Superdrug! I’ll be back with reviews after I’ve used them all a few times, especially the cleanser so I hope you will look out for that. Thank you for reading today.
